Here at Kingston College, we are now seeking a number of Lecturers to teach on a range of Counselling programmes including the Degree and Level 4 Diploma as well as part time Level 2 and 3 programmes.

You will take responsibility for teaching and providing tutorial support for Counselling courses; producing schemes of work, monitoring their delivery, supervising assessment, providing internal verification and if necessary, liaising with external verifiers/moderators. Keeping abreast of new developments in your curriculum area and related areas of education, you will ensure programmes of work are conceived and delivered in ways, which meet the needs of individual learners through Individual Learning Plans and resource-based learning.

So, if you hold a professional qualification to practice in Integrative Relational Counselling or Psychotherapy (Level 6 Diploma or Honours Degree as a minimum) and are a practicing member/registrant of BACP, UKCP or an equivalent professional body, then we’d be delighted to hear from you!

We’re especially keen to hear from those who have undertaken, or who are currently undertaking, training as a Clinical Supervisor of Counsellors or who have substantial experience as a Clinical Supervisor of Trainee Counsellors. When completing your application please indicate whether you would like to be considered for a Supervision role.

Subject to a cost of living review from 1 August, the successful candidate will be eligible for any subsequent increase in salary.

Closing date for the return of a complete online application is 10th May 2024.
