Job Title: Construction Trainer

Our client, the leading provider of training in the UK's construction sector, is seeking an experienced and motivated Construction Trainer to join their team. This role involves delivering flexible and blended training programs, focusing on Construction Theory and Health and Safety. The 2-4 week, Level 1 and 2 trade programs are designed to equip learners with practical skills and knowledge to prepare them for employment in the construction industry. The position will require travel between multiple training centres within the Rotherham and Doncaster areas.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality training based on a pre-defined curriculum, ensuring learners gain the essential skills and knowledge needed for success in the construction sector.
Complete and maintain all necessary documentation, including learner files, tracking documents, and course materials.
Mentor, observe, and assess learners, offering constructive feedback to support their progress and development.
Provide information, advice, and guidance to help learners achieve their career goals and progress within the industry.
Ensure compliance with company, funding, and awarding organization standards, maintaining the quality and integrity of the training provided.
Assess learners' e-portfolios to verify the achievement of qualifications and competencies.

Skills and Experience:

A teaching qualification, such as PTLLS or Level 3 AET (or equivalent).
An Assessor award or qualification.
A Level 3 qualification or equivalent occupational competence in the construction industry.
Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above.
Proven experience in classroom-based training delivery, particularly within the construction sector.
Ability to effectively engage and work with diverse learner groups.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in using digital tools for training and assessment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with learners and colleagues.
Attention to detail and the ability to follow established processes accurately.
Ability to manage workloads effectively and work well under pressure.
Enthusiasm, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping learners succeed.
