Job Opportunity: Automotive End Point Assessor/Internal Quality Assurer
S-Knights is seeking a skilled End Point Assessor or Internal Quality Assurer with a background in Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGV) to join our esteemed client, an Ofsted Grade 1 training provider recognized for Outstanding leadership and management. Our client is a top-tier provider of high-quality apprenticeships across various sectors.
In this role, you will deliver independent, fair, and consistent assessment services within the automotive sector. Your responsibilities will include conducting end point assessments, evaluating competency, and providing assessment outcomes. You will be tasked with ensuring the highest standards throughout the EPA learner journey, maintaining consistency in assessment judgments and grading, and adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures. This position will primarily be based at our client's Derby EPA Centre up to three times per week, with some flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely completion of all stages of EPA
Conduct and invigilate assessments
Provide accurate grading and detailed feedback
Uphold service standards and quality requirements
Conduct internal quality assurance and maintain precise reporting
Engage in continuous professional development and assist in the creation of assessment materials
Qualifications and Experience:
GCSEs at grade C or above in Maths and English (or equivalent)
Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, A1, Award in EPA)
Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) qualification (Desired)
Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance
Relevant qualifications or training related to the heavy vehicle service and maintenance technician standard
Commitment to annual industry CPD
