Exams Officer & Awarding Organisation Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Exams Officer & Awarding Organisation Coordinator to join a dynamic and impactful team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to life-changing outcomes for learners by ensuring the smooth and efficient management of exam-related processes.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Exams Officer & Awarding Organisation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the organisation, ensuring that all qualifications and certifications are handled with precision and care. Your responsibilities will include:

Qualification Registrations & Approvals: You will manage the registration and approval of new qualifications across multiple awarding organisations, ensuring that all necessary approvals are obtained efficiently.

Claims Processing: Oversee and monitor claim submissions for a diverse range of qualifications, coordinating with various awarding organisations and ensuring timely responses to External Quality Assurance (EQA) visits.

End-Point Assessments (EPA): Organise and manage the booking of EPAs, ensuring all necessary documentation and certificates are uploaded to the relevant platforms.

External Quality Assurance (EQA) Visits: Take the lead in coordinating EQA visits, working closely with centres, quality teams, tutors, and internal quality assurers (IQAs) to ensure all requirements are met.

Exam Coordination & Management: Oversee all exam-related activities, ensuring compliance with the Joint Council for Qualifications (JCQ) regulations and other awarding organisation rules. This includes managing exams for a variety of sectors, from functional skills to specialised qualifications.

Communication & Enquiries: Act as the main point of contact for enquiries related to learner services, handling calls, emails, and team communications with professionalism and efficiency.

Complaints Management: Serve as the Complaints Officer, addressing and resolving issues in line with company policies to maintain high standards of service.

Surveys & Feedback: Lead the collection and analysis of learner feedback, driving continuous improvement in service delivery.

Data Management: Utilise Pellcomp (PICS) software and other learner management systems to manage and report on learner data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in exam coordination, awarding organisation processes, or a similar role.
Familiarity with Pellcomp (PICS) software and other learner management systems is a plus.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Keen attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
