Location: Wales (Hybrid)

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Depending on experience)

KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a private Training Provider who is looking to appoint an experienced Head of Operations, within the employability sector, who will be responsible for the effective performance of our clients DWP Restart contract across Wales.

The successful candidate must have proven experience of operational management for the delivery of employability training, together with the day-to-day management of the leadership team.

Duties:

- Responsible for the effective performance of our clients DWP Restart contract across Wales, to include meeting objectives for quality, compliance, budget and performance standards
- Responsible for the direct line management of a dispersed Senior Operations Team and as well as the wider team

- Ensure all staff have a clear understanding of their measurable targets / KPI’s, and effectively performance manage them to achieve these

- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, maximising all opportunities for business growth.

- Carry out staff reviews and appraisals, to review performance and identify any areas for improvement.
- Responsible for budget control and financial management

- Contribute to strategic partnership growth plans, through new business development and account management.

- Ensure the delivery sites in your region meet the required quality and performance standard for the business

Essential Criteria:

- Experience of managing multiple contracts and senior management team, within the welfare to work sector.

- Excellent people management and performance management skills
- Proven experience of developing relationships, influencing and negotiating to secure new business
- Proven experience of managing budgets and working towards/achieving targets.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel.
