 We have an exciting new opportunity for experienced and qualified Health and social care apprenticeship trainers!
Our client are celebrating their 10th anniversary this year and are looking to expand their team of professionals in delivering apprenticeships in the health and social care industry and focus on delivering high quality training.

The primary objective of this position is to assist learners in effectively navigating and managing their sector through a combination of remote sessions and one-on-one interactions. The role involves providing support and guidance to learners, ensuring that necessary interventions are implemented as needed. Additionally, responsibilities include promptly uploading learners' evidence to the ePortfolio system, as well as delivering marking and feedback. A key focus is on driving success rates and first-time pass rates in all functional skills disciplines. Collaboration with Quality and Compliance departments is integral to fulfilling the responsibilities of this role.

Key responsibilities:
Effectively deliver the health and social care apprenticeship at level 2 and 3, managing a caseload of up to 40 learners
Assisting in learner engagement and support through various channels including remote sessions, one-on-one meetings, and group sessions such as Masterclasses.
Providing guidance to learners, ensuring appropriate interventions are applied when necessary.
Promptly uploading learner evidence to the ePortfolio system.
Timely marking and providing feedback on all completed work and assignments.
Enhancing success rates and first-time pass rates across all functional skills disciplines.
Offering targeted support to apprentices, ensuring effective management through ongoing guidance and best practices.
Contributing to the ongoing review and refinement of the curriculum for functional skills, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure quality and relevance.
Assisting in curriculum development aligned with expertise areas.
Promoting, facilitating, and participating in the dissemination of best practices through standardisations and training sessions.
Regularly reviewing and updating training and assessment materials to ensure relevance and effectiveness. 

Skills, experience and qualifications:
Hold a teaching or assessors qualification such as AET, PTLLS, CAVA, TAQA, or equivalent
Experience delivering apprenticeships at level 2 and 3
Occupational competence in the health and care sector
Working independently and taking ownership of responsibilities.
Communicating effectively in diverse situations and showing initiative in decision-making and problem-solving.
Approaching tasks with thoroughness and organisation.
Nurturing the development of others and applying expertise in training and development.
