Role: Health and Social Care Trainer Assessor

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across Cheshire, Liverpool and surrounding areas

Salary: £26,500 - £30,000 (Depending on qualifications)

Essential Criteria:

- Hold either a recognised Assessor award (D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA) OR a Level 3 Teaching Qualification such as PTLLS / AET.
- Must hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care as a minimum.
- Ideally have experience of assessing Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care / Adult Care.
- Hold solid occupational experience within Health and Social Care at Deputy Manager level or above.   
- Must have a good level of ICT skills.
- Full, clean driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- Must be flexible with travel and also remote home working.

Duties include:

- Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care up to Level 5 (Lead Adult Care Worker). 
- Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
- Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
- Support, advise and motivate learners.
- Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
- Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, learner recruitment, quality paperwork and general administration.

- Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
- Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
- Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
