Candidates must hold solid, occupational competency within Horticulture - minimum of 2 years (gardener or groundskeeper etc.)
Must have experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues within a Horticultural setting.
Ideally hold or willingness to work towards an Assessor award: D32/33, A1, CAVA or TAQA.
Confident and comfortable to deliver training to small groups of learners.
Must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle.
Must be flexible with travel.
Duties include:
Assess and support learners working towards Horticulture Apprenticeships, in a workshop / small group setting.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours.
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular learner assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
