Job Title: Construction Trainer

Our client, the largest provider of training in the UK's construction sector, is seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Trainer to join their team. In this role, you will deliver flexible and blended training programs, with a focus on Construction Theory and Health and Safety. These Level 1 and 2 trade programs, which run for 2-4 weeks, are designed to equip learners with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for employment in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality training based on a pre-defined curriculum, ensuring that learners gain the necessary skills and knowledge.
Complete and maintain all required documentation, including learner files, tracking documents, and course materials.
Mentor, observe, and assess learners, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Provide information, advice, and guidance to assist learners in their career progression.
Ensure all training delivery complies with company, funding, and awarding organization standards.
Assess learners' e-portfolios to verify successful achievement of qualifications.

Skills and Experience:

A teaching qualification, such as PTLLS or Level 3 AET (or equivalent).
An Assessor award or qualification.
A Level 3 qualification or equivalent occupational competence within the construction industry.
Maths and English qualifications at Level 2 or above.
Proven experience in classroom-based training delivery, particularly within the construction sector.
Ability to effectively engage with diverse learner groups.
Strong IT skills and proficiency in digital tools for training.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and adherence to established processes.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of work.
Enthusiastic and positive attitude, with a passion for teaching and training.
